See how gift codes, receipts and Home History Reports work — for homeowners and the professionals who gift them.
Common questions
Where do I send receipts?
Every home gets a private forwarding address at receipts.wiseravenhome.com. Open your home in the app to see yours, then forward the invoice from your regular mail app — or use the Snap screen on your phone.
My gift code won't redeem.
Codes are single-use and expire. If it says already used, it has been redeemed on another account; if it says expired, ask the professional who gave it to you for a fresh one. Ask the Raven below and we can look at the details with you.
What do the plans include?
Nest is $25/yr with 1 GB and 250 scans, Flight is $50/yr with 5 GB and 500 scans and Soar is $100/yr with 10 GB and 1,000 scans. Every plan has receipt scanning, maintenance reminders and Home History Reports.
How do maintenance reminders work?
Open your home in the app and add a reminder in your own words — “Clean the dryer vent”, “Service the furnace” — with a due date and an optional repeat. We email you before each one is due. Nest keeps 10 active at a time, Flight 25 and Soar 75; if an email didn't arrive, check spam and confirm the address on your account.
Who can see my home?
Nobody, unless you share it. You can create a private share link for a realtor, appraiser or buyer — label it, watch the view count and revoke it at any time — or turn on the public history page for the home. Either way, sensitive documents such as deeds and tax records are never shown.
Can I download everything I've stored?
Yes, on every plan including Nest. “Download my Home History” on your home page bundles the PDF report, spreadsheets of your improvements, receipts and documents, and every original file and photo into a single ZIP.
A receipt was scanned wrong — can I fix it?
Yes. Every scan shows a confidence score, and anything uncertain stops on a review card with the doubtful fields flagged before it saves. You can edit the vendor, date, total and line items then or later, and you can ask us to pause every scan for review in Settings.
How do I track wildfire improvements?
Every receipt has a Wildfire mitigation toggle beside the improvement toggle. We suggest it when the receipt mentions wildfire hardening — a Class A roof, ember-resistant vents, fire-rated siding, non-combustible decking, defensible space or brush clearing — and we show you the words that triggered the suggestion so you can switch it off if we got it wrong. Your receipts list has a Wildfire only filter and a one-click Wildfire PDF button, the Generate Report menu has a “Wildfire improvements only” option, and the export ZIP includes wildfire-improvements.csv. The record is your own documentation, not a certification.
Too many emails?
Open Settings in the app. You can switch reminders and nudge emails off, change how often nudges arrive, and set quiet hours in your own time zone — nothing is sent inside them.
How do I sign in — what's my password?
There are no passwords. Enter your email and we send a one-time code shown as “1234 5678”; the space is just for reading and codes last 10 minutes. Once you verify, that device stays signed in for 90 days. You can also continue with Google.
Can my contractor file receipts for me?
Yes. From your home page, share your private receipt address with the professional working on your house by text, QR code or email. Anything they send lands in your record, you're notified each time, and you can revoke their access whenever you like.
I'm a professional — how do I send a gift code to a client?
Open My Console at /app. The first tile shows how many gift codes you have available and lets you email one to your client with the property details pre-filled. The referral tile invites another real estate or trade professional and earns you more codes.
